XANIMATE helps you understand how rod pumping systems and downhole sucker rod pumps work. It shows the differences between pumping unit types and what happens at the pump when there is gas interference, fluid pound, and other pump conditions. Rod pumping is the most commonly used method of artificial lift in the oil industry. For the first time, you can see and hear what happens downhole, how the rods stretch, and the delay between what occurs at the polished rod versus the pump. All of the animations include detailed descriptions and sound effects. Future updates will include new animations that are being developed for different pump types or pump conditions.
